Mission 31 Foundation
When David was younger, his coaches, teachers and mentors had a profound impact on his life. It's what motivated him to major in Education, and keeps him volunteering in schools. His wife, Meghan, has always been drawn to working in pediatric health, and studying nursing only deepened her interest. The two have often volunteered together at children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald houses.
In 2017, they decided to go further and started David Johnson’s Mission 31 Foundation in order to provide support and resources to seriously ill children and their families. In 2018, the Foundation will roll out their DJ Locker program, providing access to entertainment devices for kids during their treatment and recovery. David and Meghan feel blessed to be able to combine their passions into a unified effort to better children’s lives mentally, physically and emotionally—just like David’s role models did for him.
If you’d like to help David and Meghan make a difference in the lives of these amazing kids, they'd love to hear from you.
